Perfetto mix di nostalgia e modernità, Maré reinterpreta in chiave modernista un grande classico, la seduta da bar anni 60. Nasce dal matrimonio di due materiali diversi e mai così complementari: il polipropilene della seduta e dello schienale con l'alluminio della struttura tubolare. Insieme in un solido costrutto che rende l'uno indispensabile all'altro, legati da una geometria strutturale unica (modello depositato). Grazie alla forma della scocca sufficientemente rigida, la sua struttura non ha bisogno d'altro se non di una architettura minimalista formata da due tubi di alluminio calibrati avvitati al perimetro della scocca. E' stato così possibile eliminare i traversi anteriore e posteriore enfatizzando la funzione autoreggente del sedile.
A perfect blend of nostalgia and modernity, Maré reinterprets a great classic, the 1960s bar seat, in a modernist key. It arises from the union of two different, yet complementary materials. The polypropylene of the seat and backrest with the aluminum of the tubular structure. Together in a solid construct where each component is indispensable to the other and bound by a unique structural geometry (patented model). Thanks to the sufficiently rigid shape of the shell, its structure requires nothing more than a minimalist architecture formed by two calibrated aluminum tubes screwed to the perimeter of the shell. This made it possible to eliminate the front and rear crossbars, emphasizing the self-supporting function of the seat.
