Vincitore nel 1967 (quando era ancora studente all’ENSAD) del concorso aperto a tutte le scuole di design del mondo indetto dal Brooks Stevens Design Research Center, intitolato al celeberrimo designer industriale Brooks Stevens, nel 1944 fondatore insieme ad altri della Industrial Designers Society of America.
Quell’anno la medaglia omaggiava Jacques Viénot, pioniere del design industriale in Francia e fondatore nel 1952 dell’Institut d’Esthétique Industrielle (primo tentativo di traduzione del concetto di industrial design americano).

Winner in 1967 (when he was still a student at ENSAD) of the competition open to all design schools worldwide, organized by the Brooks Stevens Design Research Center and named after the renowned industrial designer Brooks Stevens, who, in 1944, co-founded the Industrial Designers Society of America. That year, the medal honoured Jacques Viénot, a pioneer in industrial design in France and founder of the Institut d’Esthétique Industrielle in 1952 (the first attempt to translate the American concept of industrial design).
