La mostra presenta al pubblico di Shanghai il Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI, il più antico riconoscimento istituzionale al design a livello mondiale. Il premio viene raccontato attraverso una selezione ragionata di oggetti scelti appositamente per l’occasione dalla Collezione Compasso d’Oro, custodita a Milano presso l’ADI Design Museum e composta da oltre 2300 prodotti e progetti che nel tempo hanno ricevuto il premio o una menzione d’onore.
Nella mostra sono esposte più di cento opere selezionate e premiate da ADI Compasso d’Oro dal 1954 al 2022 provenienti da sette diverse sfere tematiche di design.
Nell’ambito di Crafts and Industry, uno dei sette Approfondimenti Tematici dedicati alla narrazione delle caratteristiche dei progetti, sono esposte le lampade Tite e Mite per Foscarini (Compasso d’oro 2001).
The exhibition presents to the public of Shanghai the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award, the oldest institutional design recognition in the world. The award is presented through a reasoned selection of objects specially chosen for this occasion from the Compasso d’Oro Collection, which is housed in Milan at the ADI Design Museum and brings together over 2300 products and projects that have received the award or an honorable mention over the years.
The exhibition features over one hundred works selected and awarded by the ADI Compasso d’Oro between 1954 and 2022, representing seven different thematic areas of design. Within Crafts and Industry, one of the seven thematic sections dedicated to exploring the distinctive features of selected projects, Tite and Mite lamps for Foscarini (Compasso d’Oro 2001) are on display.
