Il corpo illuminante va inserito solamente quando il cemento si è solidificato attorno al volume della cassaforma. Il risultato è una lama di luce che esce dal cemento, quando è spenta scompare: nessun artificio, solo un taglio nel muro, una rivoluzione nel modo di concepire l’outdoor lighting perché agisce per sottrazione anziché per addizione.
The Ghost for concrete is a luminous recess that uses a special concrete form to be anchored to the formwork before pouring the concrete. The lighting fixture is only inserted when the concrete has set around the volume of the formwork. The result is a blade of light that emerges from the concrete and disappears when switched off. No trick, just a cut in the wall. A revolution in the way outdoor lighting is conceived because it works by subtraction rather than addition.
